Re: The Strange, Angry Woman at the Store Today

Bullies come in all shapes and sizes. Some are pretty, others are not and some are somewhere in between. I would have let her go first too. It isn't worth a potential confrontation where you could have been injured.

Give her the dressing room and step out of range. You don't know if this person is just a mean-tempered bully, on drugs, or seriously mentally unbalanced. I'd suspect the latter. Not worth risking a dangerous confrontation.

Give her a wide berth. She sounds mean or crazy.

Yikes ! I've only witnessed that type of behavior on ""What Would You Do""? It was really nice of you to let the clerk know that you understand and that it was not his fault. I'm sure he was embarrassed. The other customer is not a person I would want to live next door to.

It would have served her right to have stepped out of the dressing room to be met by a couple of policemen.

Re: The Strange, Angry Woman at the Store Today

When I read the title, I thought , "Oh no, was it me?" Then I remembered I hadn't been to the store today. Whew. {#emotions_dlg.laugh} I read the story, and I think we are seeing more and more of that behavior now. I think the lid has been blown off because of a cancerous sense of entitlement growing in our country, at least. Not sure about the rest of the world.

""...kill someone""? I was in banking for 30 yrs....those words are an IMMEDIATE 911. And it shouldn't matter if it's a bank or your retail shop. Let the police deal w/ it.

If her husband witnessed or heard her rude behavior, it would have been sweet if he'd left the store. Of course he would eventually feel her wrath but no one should tolerate being yelled at in public.

That was my first thought.

She was enraged and ranting. I would have considered her dangerous.

Re: The Strange, Angry Woman at the Store Today

I hear about incidents like this (from reading this board) but I've never witnessed any.

I would put a lot of space between me and someone like this and if I saw her getting aggressive toward someone else, I'd call 911.
