Oh my goodness the winds are blowing!
We are having gusts upwards of 50+ mph!
Listening to the scanner, power lines are down all over the place.
Those hard working men and women of PG&E will be making bank today, getting all of those lines back up.
They should be getting a ton of overtime fixing the lines.
I should've become a lineman.
Currently, there are over 18,000 customers who have lost power.
Telephone lines are down too.
Also, a lot of debris is being blown in to the roadways.
Some trees are down too.
The dispatchers are being kept busy fielding all of these calls, and directing who to go where.
My power went off briefly, and may go out again.
The wind is supposed to last until 7pm tonight.

The name of this thread is a key slogan from a dangerous wackadoo cult that's promoting violence right now. Just FYI.

I live in northwestern California, along the coast, where the redwood trees are, in Humboldt County, in the town of Fortuna.

Well if we get weird cryptic (besides, I guess mine) apocalyptic responses to this genuinely innocent thread about the weather, y'all will know why.
