Yes--it's that time of the year again! Favorite tropical porches! I won't make it without them!
Hi Sassy-So glad your Mom is doing well and liking her new home! What a relief that must be for you.Glad Missy is enjoying the heater. My cats have started to blend in with the furniture as they try finding new places to huncker down in! I have to look before I sit down.
Puddles loving the fun things you are posting. I saw the waves on the coast of Wales and Portugal on the internet. Downright scary! I hope the flooding has stopped? Your flat is going to be so beautiful and just the way you want it! I'm reading about Julia Childs and it just seems to remind me of you when she talks about all their travels in Europe. So glad you are both healthy and having fun. I'd say Miss Snow White is one lucky furbaby.
Viva--Remember a few seasons back when Gibbs was dating the Army officer? And then she was gone the next season and they just said she had transferred to Hawaii? She was the one who worked cases with NCIS for the whole season (and Gibbs and she were romantically involved). She looks very different with civilian clothes-looser, softer hairdo and softer make-up. I think they just wanted to put an ending on that romance as I was one who wondered where she had gone the next season. It was several years back and it took me a few minutes to place her too! Glad they tied that loose end up! Seems that's what they were doing in this episode--tying up loose ends and totally changing the focus to Maghee. I think "Bishop" is fitting in well. Funny--the way they have her hair and all--she reminds me of Ziva and I don't think that's an accident. I expect her "look" will change a bit as she goes along. The character she's playing is interesting and totally opposite Kate and Ziva so it keeps my interest. Stay warm!
Loves--Praying for you all to have a wonderful event very soon!
Possum--Have you recovered yet? Hope so!I know Atlanta was way too cold but how is it in Tampa?
Dad survived 3 straight mornings of arctic morning appointments but that sore on his foot just won't heal. Well--it sort of heals-scabs over and then peels.I'm praying it just plain heals up and stops impeding his walking; he's super tough but it's been a long 5 months for him since he broke his foot. Things are so "up in the air" right now and I know "tax time" will be upon us too soon. I have a gadzillion things to do with their house and all. It can be overwhelming if I let my guard down. I read the other day that if you just start saying "Jesus I trust you" (insert whatever works for you) whenever you start feeling nervous about the situation that you will calm your mind and spirit down after awhile so I'm saying that everytime the future looms! One day~one trial~ at a time. That's my plan.
Hi to Lulutoby-Hayfield-Terrry-Bobbisue-Anika-Grands-Emy-Nana and our one and only PUDDLES! Have a great Thursday everybody!
Love & HOPE & blessings--Dame
