At last we're open for business, so come sit down and have a glass of wine or some Perrier and soda, crudites and dips, chips, roasted nuts, olives, and other assorted treats.
A coffee bar is available with gourmet brands of regular and decaf coffees and teas with assorted creamers and sweeteners.
And then there's our Viennese table with assorted cakes, cookies, pies and dessert drinks. Enjoy our ice cream bar and our chocolate fountain.
Take a seat and let's chat about books or anything else we have on our minds.
Oh did I mention I LOVE OUR NEW BOOK BOARD???????????
Hugs to you all ![]()

Oh it's always good to have a good cup of coffee.
I brought this thread up because I've been wasting my time watching book hauls on youtube. People (mostly young adults) show you a zillion books that they plan on reading. Some of these people are totally annoying but a lot are fun to watch. One adult that I found is frenchiedee ---- I like to look at her table in the background of her videos.

I love Chocolate Glazed Doughnut coffee (yum). I have it almost every morning while I read my book. I usually have tea later in the day (love India Spice Chai Tea, or Rooibos Chocolate Vanilla, or Decaf Sleepytime Lemon Jasmine Green Tea).

It's going on 5 in the morning and I've been up most of the night reading The Silkworm. I'm enjoying some Tim Horton's cappuccino right now, and then I plan on finishing the book (I highly recommend it--those who read The Cuckoo's Calling have to read this sequel!).
I picked up a book called Shirley--it's a novel based on the life of Shirley Jackson (she wrote "The Lottery"). I've read a lot about Jackson over the years, and am curious what this new book might add (or mess up).
I'm also reading Empty Mansions, which is a pretty outrageous account about a family of millionaires back in the 1900's (remember that century?).
Anyway, I thought I'd just stop by the café for a bit and give those updates.
