I don't get the stir over this exchange. Yeah, they don't know something basic, but I'll bet money that the average person in US doesn't know this either.

I don't get it either...........I thought the banter back and forth between them was cute and funny.........most people don't watch the Q for an education, they watch for certain products they are interested in buying.......and on THAT the hosts are well informed..............................raven

This was so funny. DH and I just watched it. I agree....it was the way it came about that was so funny. Peaches Mc makes a good point. I remember the moon being called the moon in grade school and a star a star. I did, however, recognize "planet earth" as being a little off ${#emotions_dlg.lol}$ ....Oh well, Shawn.....some of the rest of us hated Science class, too!!!!!
