Thanks for posting that. What a beautiful Christmas tree in the background! I listened to half of it. I must admit I found her discussion of "reconciliation" with Ireland a bit hard to take. Anyone who's read a bit of history knows that the English took everything from the Irish, including the wealth and property of their monarchy. Does one call it reconciliation to stop fighting after one has done this? It is in the past, but her characterization doesn't square with the history I've read.

So what's the solution? Do you want no reconciliation or a different reconciliation or that the countries should go back to the ugly violent attacks of the past?

No doubt the past was filled with ugliness but what's the future to be?

I'm just making an observation, millieshops. I don't like the way she talked about it, leaving out the way the English attacked the Irish for centuries.
