It does seem to be a very g-rated version of forums.Most topics that are remotely meant for the old "viewpoints" forum is quickly closed for comments. I suppose many prefer that.

Ita agree w/who they are trying to target-age group wise. I am 47 & started shopping on QVC & HSN 20yrs ago & things have changed!!! 20 somethings like my 24y/o nephew don't use facebook,Everything is twitter,texting & instagram + other things I never heard of. HIS EXACT WORDS RE:QVC-"Thats for people your age-there's nothing there for me". I see his point there really isn't. I am sure people who have kids,grandkids,etc are going to understand what I am saying-they are so tech savvy & by the time something becomes mainstream like FB-they are way ahead into something else.

I wish they would bring back the old boards & also have the hosts stop pushing FB posts,etc during item presentations-I want to hear about the item specifications not what is your "favorite color" nonsense.

Does anyone else agree w/me re:who QVC is trying to target & if they think it will work??

I don't think that many of the "younger customers" they may be trying to attract would put up with the very strict Rules and Standards of these Boards. That coveted demographic is probably chatting elsewhere.

O R, the Q is just modernizing their site. They're not trying to get rid of customers, this board is almost identical to the one at HSN. Why are you taking this change so personally?

QVC hasn't modernized anything with this board. HSN boards are now dead since they implemented their change.

Aunt G, think of the hearts as a way to tell a poster you like their post..if you do, you can give them a "heart" just by presssing that button

I'm not taking it personally. I'm not a long time faithful customer, I'm not a grandmother, and I'm not retired.

I don't buy Q fashion, poly is not something I wear. I've seen handbags I've liked but I don't want a bag made in China. The last purchase I made was a rug for my patio.

As to younger shoppers, I was thinking 30-40 age group. Maybe those who are SAHM or work from home.
