Then it begs the question...Why be here then if it so offensive to your sensibilities and every other group for that matter ?
Easy peasy.

My sentiments exactly. This new board is really boring and thus I don't spend nearly as much time here as I did two weeks ago. The net result is that since I'm no longer involved with QVC on the forum (except possibly to complain about this new mess) I don't even think of turning the Q on. Further, I don't get encouraged by other posters to check something out. Saving me a lot of both money and time. I guess I should thank the (hopefully) temporary employees who thought this up.

Clearly, Q wanted to update their Community. I think it's still relevant to those who post often. Also it is kind of fun to learn new things, such as the way the new forum works. Why be stagnant?
I don't think having rules and regs is a bad thing, either. If this keeps the meanies away, great!
As far as hosting is concerned, well, the hosts don't need this Community to monitor them... their bosses see what they are doing and if they have any issues with them, they will deal with them.

I don't care for the forum.
I did enjoy Nordstroms today though. Not missing my shopping here at all.

When the new forum launched, I could understand the frustration and complaints because I don't think the forum was really ready for public consumption and we were on our own trying to figure out the mechanics.
I'm not aware of QVC shutting the forum down an night to make enhancements, but if QVC did, I'm sure someone will tell me.
They tried to make improvements as we all stumbled around trying to find our footing.
What I don't understand is the churn about content. This is a shopping channel's forum. I understand when I log in that it's QVC's house and QVC's rules.

QVC is offering a free forums board. I think it nice of them to do it for us. Of course it is to benefit there brand to get people on the website. Either way I am going to enjoy it for what it is worth. Time to relax and connect with people outside of m little bubble. For me it is just not that important to me in the bog scheme of life.

I don't understand things like the hearts and tags so I just read and post. It's kind of fun to read the reasons why posts are taken down. Overall, I do agree that this just isn't as much fun as it once was.

I actually like the boards now that I switched browsers.

Sorry but imo nothing ages a person more than a resistance to change and not embracing progress.
