He was so different than Benedict. Nary a mention of him eh.

Pope Francis was extremely modern for his 88 yr old generation. He was progressive.  So humble, if you noticed and I had not until a news reporter pointed out, he never wore the big Pope hats. He paid his own hotel bill at least once. LOL

He brought me to tears with how he'd break protocol especially when it came to people at gatherings.

I hope he has inspired the next one.

An interesting group of Cardinals. Wonder if they will choose a conservative or progressive from this group.

I'm guessing that every one of the cardinals has picked the name he will use if elected. As a cradle Catholic I have no doubt about it!

Pope Francis lived a life of humble servitude, loving compassion and inclusion of all. The world has been a better place because of his example. In time, may the next pope fill his shoes well. He has been truly a holy man.
