I think that sheltie talked to my relatives.They had to bring up the "incident" with that song in church. I was young and in the choir. We must have gotten a little too joyful because we fell to the pew and turned the whole thing over in the middle of the song. The church members described our legs flapping back and forth in the air like can-can girls. Nobody asked how they knew about can-can girls. ${#emotions_dlg.confused1}$ . It was really too bad that Mrs Jones (fake name) was on our pew. I think they thought she could control us. People were amazed a 88 year old woman could flap her legs like that. I did not race to get up because I knew I was in BIG trouble. I think I thought if we waited quietly everyone would forget it and we could turn the pew back upright. I heard the minister making a funny laugh like coughing noise as he spoke. He said, "God loves your joyful exuberance ; now doxie will you help Mrs Jones and the others get up" He called others to lift the pew. I was still nervous about the family. Then the minister thanked us again.

Mrs Jones got over it and never held a grudge. She even started dating some of the gentlemen in the church. They decided to bolt down the pews after that. I of course had to put up with people asking me if I needed a seatbelt every time I sat in a pew for a while. That was silly because we were all still seated perfectly in the pew with our feet up in the air.

Now the cool news

They are calling for the possibility of _now on Halloween. Some freaky conditions mean we may get 32 - 58 _nowflakes. I am so excited I may turn a pew over.

I may not sleep tonight. I will try to send some your way.

I have a feeling it will miss us.

Doxie, I hope you get your _now, I know for you it's special! Thank you for sharing your pew story, I seriously was LOLing! (I tested the stronger version of this that mentions losing one's backside, but it was no go!) I can just see that row of legs and feet kicking back and forth! Still laughing!

I bought about 10 pounds of candy for tomorrow night. My neighbor says he's giving out beers to the parents. I'm going to trick or treat over there I think!

I do not know what I will do if we get 58 _nowflakes. I have plans for the 36.

I want to go to your neighbor's house too but will have to miss it due to the avalanche we are expecting. I am getting the candy tomorrow. I may get 10 pounds but will only need 1 pound probably what with the avalanche and all.

Maybe some beverages are in order. It is the end of October so some brew might be good. I just have to be careful because I do not want to miss the _now event.

I do have bread and tp but only a quart of milk. I may have to get that too.
