Tried to catch up with posts last night on last weeks thread.

Prayers continue, always, for those in need. Special prayers and thoughts for Panda this week. Please update us when you can, we will be thinking of you.

Monday Morning Greetings

Wishing that everyone has a very pleasant day today and that it marks the beginning of a week that brings you much happiness and good health.

I know that some of you PCCer's experienced insane weather conditions this week-end (like blizzards!) ..especially yesterday. Hoping that all is well with you,your families and your furbabies.

Wooo Hooo… the blizzard. Now that was wild

We did keep power but some lost it due to winds and leaves on trees when the blizzard hit.

I was so excited about the 36 -58 snowflakes they were calling for. I waited up and could not sleep because I was scared I would miss them. They were supposed to arrive at 2:37 am. Well no _now. I was trying to prepare for the letdown. At 3:49 we did get 13 _nowflakes. I was so disappointed because they is not enough for me to make my miniature _now village. I got in the lazy boy to watch the weather channel to see what went wrong. I nodded off and woke up around 5:30 am. I ran out side and is was raining.. I was so bummed. I went back in and watched the weather channel and they said the _now was still a possibility and to stay off the road. I kept watching and they showed a blizzard 15 miles away. It was falling by the thousands. I debated on driving the girls to the blizzard. I waited until 6:46 and went outside and guess what? It was _nowing!. I grabbed the girls and my tools to make my _now village. The girls enjoyed the giant flakes the tempted as soon as they hit the ground. Did I tell you the weather was really odd? The ground temperature was warm and there was a nasty bitter wind that was whipping the _now around. I was having a hard time making my snow people since it was meting. I was using a pair of tweezers to grab the _nowflakes and stake them on top of one another. I had to go get some ice and line a tray on top of it so it would be cold. I then was able to build my mini _now village with hand _nowmen and women. I built a house and a church and had some trees and bushes. I even built some _nowdogs. The blizzard was so fierce I had to go back inside.

Yes shetie, I had my instant _now and it was gone as fast as it came.

I hope you are able to enjoy a load of _now to enjoy.

Happy Monday to my PCC friends and furbabies,

You ladies are so special to me. I am blessed to have such a wonderful group praying for me this week. I will have my dh send a message on Thursday evening when we get home to update everyone!

OMG! On the Metra quiet car today inbound to downtown Chicago, there was this guy on his phone loudly discussing his disappointment that Dan Morrell at HSBC had not yet responded to their invitation to participate on a call and how the transaction was worthless if HSBC did not participate. People were turning and giving him the evil eye - lot of good that did. Darn good thing that conversation wasn't confidential.
