Thank you so much to everyone for their prayers for my dad. He had his procedure done today. It took 3 hours and 3 "cuttings" for his nose to run "clear" of cancer. When I spoke to him this evening, he was joking around and saying that his bandaged nose looks like a "clown nose." He normally doesn't have a super sense of humor so this may be the pain medicine talking! Whatever it is, I will take it and am glad that he is in good spirits!

Continued prayers for Doxie and Schatzie, beauty's brother and everyone in need of prayer!

Hi Lucy, Thank you so much for your prayers and kind words. Dad still seems to be doing fine. My mom had to call me last night to tell me the funny "discharge" instructions that he had. For 48 hours, he cannot lift anything heavier than a "fork" or a "remote control." Just the two items he is thrilled to be able to lift!

How are you healing from your fall?

Panda, I'm glad to hear your Dad is doing well. That was funny about the fork and the remote,those are two favorite items around here,too. Hope everyone has a nice weekend. Doxie thinking of you and Schatzie hope you are both doing well.

I am so glad to hear that your dad continues to do well!

And thank you so much for asking about my well-being--you are very sweet! I am okay, although ironically my knee started bothering me this evening. But nothing horrible...keeping things in perspective helps!

Dear friends Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for my dad. He got impatient yesterday waiting on my mom to come home from running errands. She was going to help him take the bandage off and found that he had already done it earlier. We figured that he waited until exactly 48 hours to remove it. Since she wasn't home, he did it himself! Now that is more like my dad...stubborn and independent! Glad to see him feeling better. He still has the septic strips across there covering the stitches. He goes back next week to have those removed.

Sheltie, Beastie, Matty, Lucy, MoJoV, Doxie, LuvMySpaniels, NCOMA, QsZoo, winocat,beauty and anyone that I may have mistakenly overlooked, thank you for your friendship and know that I am praying for of all of you, as well!

panda - I am glad your dad is doing well and getting back to normal. I think I would have told him he could only lift the fork. That would give me the power over the remote.

I am glad that Tommy is doing better and hope that beauty does as well.

The flowers are in bloom and the pollen is flying. We are having an unshiny day today which is calming tone pollen down.
