Sharke (Susy) is just getting brownies and apple Danish. that's a thrill for me. I only allow myself pastry one day a yr. I just lost 50 pds couple of yrs ago and have kept it off and I have to be careful of the monkey on my back. Easy to fall back on old habits. I have to be strict and set limits . I eat little sweets on week end, most of the time it's fruit and SunKist gels thru the week days. I'm big on Kiwi's now, I read where they lower your blood pressure and also soy nuts.

Sharke, I admire you. I sure can't eat like I used to, but boy, I am tempted by some of Doxie's cakes! I think in the cyber world we can have one of each, lol! Ok, just a taste of each!

yeah, girl I had to get serious about my wgt few yrs. ago. My knees blowed out on me scared me to death. went to the dr. xrays showed I had bone spurs in knees and osteo arthritis. I cracked down to 1000 calories a day . I didn't want to end up like those big fat people in electric cars at walmart. My husband said he wasn't gonna push me around he didn't have time and it was up to me to decide if I wanted to eat or get healthy. So, now, still a tad fat, but, I carry it well. 160 or so. Made a big difference. I eat sweets on week end only. today, will be an exception ! LOL Then, I'll go back to my 'starvation' (which to most people is ordinary eating) when you have the 'fat' monkey on your back your always fighting it like any addiction. Crying shame if you don't smoke or drink that we can't eat what we want to either.

Good morning to all and there fur babies. I want to thank everyone who wished me a happy b-day. And all who are December babies Happy b-day to you. Tanya came in yesterday and this afternoon [I have off] we are going food shopping. and taking the foursome for some pictures with Santa at Petco. And then I am going to stay home until Friday when I have to go back to work [groan] Steve is opening the office he does have clients even during the holiday that need his attention. My in laws are coming in from California and my mother will be at my house. My brother and his wife and family might come too, but with them you never know. Have a Merry X-mas and be careful if you are traveling this holiday season. Anna Steve, Tanya and Libby and the foursome.
