Wishing all of you the happiest of Holidays and a Blessed New Year.

Happy Birthday to the December babies.

The Zoo is good. Healthy and happy. I am doing fine.

*As I get close to the one year anniversary of having to let Ethan go I struggle a little. He used to climb my artificial tree and peek at me through the branches and that won't happen. The flowers the vet's office sent are still on the table where I set them upon delivery. Perfectly dried, with no bent flowers, standing tall. Most days I can remember, speak about him, look at pictures but this week is very hard. I am completing my year of firsts without him. I miss him so deeply. He has a big part of my heart. My Sweet Boy, I will never stop loving you and am so thankful I got to be your "mom".

I am grateful I have met the wonderful people at P.C.C. You helped get me through one of the hardest losses I went through. You are always in my heart and I check in often and keep you in my prayers, even when I don't post.

May God be with you as we finish 2014 and begin again in 2015.

QsZoo, I am so glad you checked in today. I can relate to the struggles you are having as you remember your precious Ethan ...the day after Thanksgiving marked 5 years since I lost my precious Heidi. It never gets any easier. I am just glad we can be here for you to continue to pray for and support you. This is a special group and I am forever thankful that God blessed me with such wonderful friends here! Hugs, prayers and love to you and everyone! Panda

I haven't done much decorating this year, but tonight I had to go to the attic and bring down the dog and cat tree - a little German feather tree with all my animal ornaments topped with an angel and our dear Jesse at the top.

If I don't get back before they close the boards down, Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Happy Kwanza and a belated Happy Winter Solstice... (I am so happy the days are getting longer again!)

zoo - I am glad you posted. There are certain times of the year when it really seems to hit you. May you find some solace in the knowledge of the joy he brought you. I stillg et sad at times that I miss my pets. Ethan is with you in spirit.

I thought they did in the past, but I'm glad they didn't. DH is working tonight but my DB and SIL stopped by - just as I was going to vacuum before they come tomorrow, lol! Too bad, no vacuuming! Sending each of you a warm Christmas hug, I'm so grateful to know you. Merry Christmas!
