We are watching tv this morning. We have an issue with the tv, the cable box or the cable feed itself and are trying to isolate the cause.
I have learned, according to a story told about Maria Shriver, that you can take the things that stress you and she will hold out an imaginary bag for you and you put those things in there and she will toss them out.
She will give you an imaginary bag of comfort in return.
Some woman on Rachael Ray is advising us to put Maldon Salt flakes in jars to decorate and just spread it all over the place and down the center of the table in piles like she did at the White House years ago.
That stuff is expensive! Really? Just pile it on the table, under the tree? $$$$$$$.
I feel so much better.

I used to like Oprah when she just did her TV show. Once she got onto knowing a little about everything was getting kinda old for me. When she then moved to knowing a lot about everything? She became to me like the Actors and Actress celebs.
The old line: "No, but I played one in the movies", had these celebs thinking they knew more about everything than illiterates like me. You name it, they knew/know what's best for me. Seems they are stuck somewhere between LaLa Land and Reality.

@hckynut You are so spot on. I also liked her so much in the beginning. But a little of her now goes a long long way doesn't it? Sad.

I have never been drawn to shallow fluff shows. I think I may have seen part of one Oprah show, and rolled my eyes and never tuned in again. My goodness, I would never hang out with other women who talked like that either. I like to hear something with substance. If I am in the mood for silliness, I'll watch a Hallmark Christmas movie. LOL!

I recall reading recently she has to have someone fold her toilet tissue into a triangle like many Motels do on the roll . So someone must be in charge of this duty ? I thought WHAT!!!
No one can be the expert on everything. I did enjoy her book recommendations back in the day. AARP sent me a free copy of her magazine this Fall. No, Thank you. All about ME.

I did not know she had a new show.
