During Christmas there was an ad for a men's shaving kit for down there. The fella that dated Kim Kardashian for a bit was in it. He got it for Chritmas, but the kit was missing the "lawn mower". He then spies it sitting next to the milk & cookies. Then the camera pans to bits of white fluff in a line to the chimney. He drops the lawn mower and says "Ewwww".
That's how I feel about a lot of these commercials. I don't need to see people using these products.

Personally, I am tired of commercials for diabetes medication being presented like a Broadway musical...MUTE TV IMMEDIATELY!
And I go to bed and wake up with that song stuck in my head and can't get back to sleep. I hate Jardiance.

The "bargain blue pills" for men commercials are a little gross, too.

They played it during the Super Bowl. I remember going to work the next day and having the conversation about the commercials and THAT strange one in particular. Yuck.

@Goodie2shoes I have not seen it and I hope that I never do!
It sounds totally disgusting. There used to be standards on what was shown on TV, but those went by the wayside, years ago.
It seems that now, anything goes. Does "free speech" have to mean nasty, crude and unpleasant? I doubt that it was intended to be used that way.
Heck, I remember the days when Lucy and Ricky a married couple, had to sleep in single beds, as did Laura and Rob Petrie.
Back then, they couldn't even say the word "pregnant". That was silly.
We've come a long way, haven't we ?
Too far!
Not to mention the Lume commercials. Oops, I just did.

@Nataliesgramma Funny! Or the ones that don't even bother to do that!

@Justshop Those are totally obnoxious and annoying!

All of the comments above make me so enjoy the E-TRADE babies so much more especially the one where they are playing pickleball!

We have loved the Etrade babies since they began many years ago, with the baby in his crib.
Picking out which commercial is the most obnoxious now is pretty hard to do.
The Secret full body deodorant , the Lume with the older woman, and the one with the guy who comes out of the swimming pool fully "intact" (can't even remember the product name now) and the Dude wipes are only a few.
Obnoxious is one group; annoying is a whole 'nother category! I would have to put all drug, insurance, and supplement ads in the annoying group..along with any that are shown two or three times in a row. Enough already.

This is not so much on the "obnoxious" side but the "when did the definition change?" side.
It's the phone commercial where it talks about "nada yada yada." In my mind (and in the slang dictionary) "yada yada" is used as unimportant or details not worth mentioning - much like saying "etc." or "whatever" at the end of your thought.
In this commercial, they are using it (in my opinion) as a substitution for a curse word that starts with S and ends in T.
"Don't put up with yada yada." It's goofy and I hope it fades away soon.
