Did anyone watch this with Gary Senise and Joe Mantanga? I apologize for the misspelling of their names. A wonderful program honoring all the war heroes from WW11 to the present and they included the National Guard this year. Sad, but also heart warming. Reminded me of my Dad's sacrifice in WW11 and all the young men then who are mostly all gone now.
These wars never stop down through the ages. My husband a Korean War Vet and in his 80's had he lived.
The entertainment was very good. Candace Grover sang, as did Jessia Sanchez, who I thought had a better voice for this type of program. Also the winner from The Voice, which I don't watch, but he was great. This year they toned it down focusing on the wounded, where the other years they really showed a lot of wounded in the audience and told their story. They did tell the story of the soldier who committed sucide because of PTS.
It is a good tribute to our service men and women in every war and well done every year.
