The Lovin' Spoonful -- John Sebastian

Sebastian is 78 yrs old today. I love this group and I always thought John was very handsome -- and talented since he is both a singer &  songwriter. One of my neighbors looks a lot like Sebastian and when he walks his dog by my house it always starts a Spoonful song going through my head.  

 

Darling Be Home Soon or Did You Ever Have To Make Up Your Mind? are the two that pop to mind most often when I see him.

Remember they sing the theme song to Welcome Back Kotter. Or that could be Sebastian on his own.

@Shelbelle  I love that song.  I knew that about Kotter even though I didn't watch the show. I'm familiar with the song though.
