Re: The Looks on their Faces--Extended Royal Family

Prince Charles also greeted Meghan very warmly as he escorted her down the aisle.  He apparently said something very nice as she smiled back at him.

Hi everybody, between getting little sleep because I woke up early to watch the Royal Wedding and going to my sister's bridal shower, I've had little time to post here. What I was most looking forward to was seeing the Royal Family's faces during the ceremony. (Even more than seeing Meghan's dress which was underwhelming). I didn't really see a look of joy in their face. Many members weren't even looking at the bride and groom when they were saying their vows. Did any of you notice this?

You seemed to have had this thought all along and projected it into your own mind, in other words looking for something that wasn't there!

Re: The Looks on their Faces--Extended Royal Family

Lets face it.  It was a day that started early for them, probably a ceremony which was longer then intended.  It is hard to maintain one's energy and enthusiasm.

We weren't there and can only judge by the photos that are being provided to us which can be misrepresented and easily misinterpreted.

Some of these response have me so confused. I would think that one would look at the couple as they are saying their vows. Of course, they aren't going to focus on them during the entire ceremony. One can be reserved and paying attention at the same time.

If you are confused what do you think about us? I don't think we even watched the same event.

@JBKOThis is the heart of the problem with your post.  You have some weird expectation of people-people you do not know.

It's too bad really.  Looking for what YOU perceive to be wrong behavior is clouded by a perception already in place even before the ceremony.

Whether somebody looked the whole time doesn't negate the whole purpose of the wedding-which is solely between Harry and Meghan.

I just don't get the negativity.

@JBKO  Aren't you a ray of sunshine? Your negative opinions could (should) have been left without hitting the ENTER key. Wonder if anyone were to make similar comments about your daughter's upcoming wedding how you would feel? Like the Royal's, you will never hear them. However I promise you, it would be hurtful. Think about that before spouting off about other families events and celebrations.

Yes, I absolutely think the guests should look at the bride and groom when they're saying their vows.
