i dont know why no one shows THE HOUSE WITHOUT A CHRISTMAS TREE anymore......it is one of my all time favorites from when i was younger. i do own it on dvd. A CHRISTMAS CAROL (the alistair sim version) is one of my all time favorites also. i love many of the versions that have been done, including AN AMERICAN CHRISTMAS CAROL (henry winkler), the versions with reginald owen, george c scott, and patrick stewart.

 

this season i have already seen A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS, THE CHRISTMAS BOX, HOLIDAY INN, SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN, the alistair sim A CHRISTMAS CAROL, HOME ALONE, RUDOLPHS SHINY NEW YEAR, and a few nostalgic holiday episodes of the mary tyler moore show, the bob newhart show, mash, the love boat, and some of the old variety shows that were on in the 60s and 70s (judy garland, andy williams, bing crosby, and perry como).
