I've been checking in and out. I happened on the thing with all those people lined up holding hands with Queen L going on about something then Madonna in a cowboy hat singing something. I checked out on that. What was that about?

It was about 30 couples, some same-s*x, getting married right there at the Grammys! It brought tears to my eyes!

What does getting married have to do with music? No wonder it's gone on so long.

Nothing. They had a political agenda from the start.

Re: The Grammys is a Marathon

Anyhoo, I thought Pink was wonderful.

I like Lorde's "Royals" and I'm glad she scored 2 Grammys.

Katy Perry sure put on quite a show; I like the song "Roar" but I didn't think she'd win.

Metallica - that guitar needed tuning.

Miranda Lambert and Billie Joe Armstrong - kind of an odd pairing. I like Green Day anyway, so seeing him was nice.

Lots of talent - I didn't know Stevie Wonder would be on. Gosh - I remember him as a little 12 year old when he first hit the music scene.

Paul McCartney and Ringo - well, that kind of made me sad thinking of John and George. But I'm looking forward to the Beatles show on Feb. 9th.

I'm also glad Bruno Mars scored a win, too.

All the performers were talented; Lang Lang is a phenomenal pianist and I'm glad they had him participate.

Congrats to the winners - overall it was a pretty good show.

Yuck! I am glad I didn't watch it!

I DVR It. Watch other programs then checked in on that and could fast forward the parts I didn't care for. Didn't Pink do something like last night's performance before, a few years back?

Gay or straight, Marriage should not be a circus act.

Re: The Grammys is a Marathon

I watched the show mainly to see Paul and Ringo.....and the country old timers. (Merle is 76 now and Kris is 77!!! and Willie is 80!!).

The whole show was pretty much a snorefest. I have to agree. I don't know what the giant wedding had to do with music (it wasn't just gays it was all kinds). I couldn't wait for it to get over....wanted to change over and watch Downton Abbey but dd was enjoying it.

Re: The Grammys is a Marathon

It was horrible...from the very start with beyonces terrible song! I can almost get past the sexy part but the song was horrible. Daft punk was by far the highlight. As far as marriages on the show, glad I missed that part...how boring!

Re: The Grammys is a Marathon

I watched some videos from the show. From what I saw, Carole King and Sara Bareilles were the best of the night. Paul and Ringo were pretty bad due to the awful song.

What was with Taylor Swift's head banging?
