The Genetically Engineered Impossible Burger And The Story Behind It

Yuck! A Frankenburger! You couldn’t pay me to eat that lab created junk. FDA approved. Yep, that makes me feel safe. I wish I could track the health of someone eating these for 10 years.

Re: The Genetically Engineered Impossible Burger And The Story Behind It

I tried the Impossible burger from Burger King.

It wasn't too bad.

I might have it again, maybe.

I'd rather have a Gardenburger or a Black bean burger.

@LizzieInSRQ  I would definitely eat a non-GMO, organic,

black bean burger, but none of this lab created fake food.

It doesn't matter how good tasting it is to me.  It could taste like the best and most expensive beef in the world and I still wouldn't eat it.  It's science project.  It's genetically engineered faux food that could present health issues down the road that no one has even thought about.  There's no reason for me to eat it....so I won't.

I tried the impossible burger from Burger King and it was ok. My husband threw his in the trash. We got one Whopper and one Impossible burger to split just in case we didn’t like it. Would I buy it again. Probably not. I would rather have the real thing.

The soy being used to make meatless products is

most likely the same soy used to feed livestock for

meat/dairy/egg.

@sidsmom Read the article by the manufacturing company (link below). It is not. This was developed specifically for the Impossible Burger.
