The First Topic Screen--What's Up With That

That last topic discussed list that comes on when you first come onto the boards list the same things! It's all so tame--beauty, fashion, beauty and more beauty, with a little kitchen sprinkled in. I'm just wondering if they are trying to discourage Viewpoints

Has anyone else noticed it

eta: I'm talking about when you hit the View All Categories and the discussions come up that people have recently started. Viewpoints or Q Did What isn't on it ever, or rarely ever
