Just about everyday, when I come in here to scroll the different threads to see what might interest me, I see a lot of threads, purposely engineered by the same people, that eventually are shutdown. Most of these threads are unkind or rude to hosts or vendors and warrant being shutdown.

So, just a little something for the 'Whiners and Complainers" to think about:

You will also be the first to complain if this entire forum gets shutdown for such unnecessary practices! Think before you act!

Thank you for saying this, I think this all the time, they never learn! A thread gets shut down then two more threads about the same thread are started!

And they usually go on about "expressing my opinion"! Well, we can express our opinions in a lot of ways, some of which trigger consequences.

Of course, they like and enjoy the attention and self-importance. Sadly, the only way to get any attention is to cause negative discourse, and what better place than to hide behind a keyboard to execute it.

Generally, a certain amount of time is given before a forum shuts down. More than enough time for their whines and complaints.

This is an interesting thread. Let’s stop talking negative about the hosts. Instead let’s talk about other posters. That should help keep the board up and running.

How about allowing the moderators to do their job, and the rest of us just pass right by negative threads we don’t want to participate in.

I imagine QVC knows a discussion board is going to bring all kinds of comments, both negative and positive. There is no reason to shut down this board.
