The Bird's Nest for March

Hi everyone- hope you don't mind that I started a new thread for March.

Birds are eating like crazy - those critters are the hungriest bunch ever.

Went to a new beauty shop today which is just across the wash from me - only a few yards but can't walk thru the Wash for many years as they put up a rickety ugly fence. In the early 60s the neighborhood kids dug steps in the side and for a long time we used those steps to save getting in the car and driving to some of the stores. Can't do that any more. Anyway this was my first visit at this shop and they mentioned they have loved watching the birds at my house - I told them where I lived. They also mentioned they have been seeing red-tailed hawks - interesting as I had noticed that lately also after many years of not spotting any.

The hummers are still gulping down every drop of food they can find. LOL. They are such neat critters.
