I've seen new cars parked like that there also.  Then there are Ghost cities....

Of course, not the level of some of those pictures in China but..

Last yr, Dallas adopted the Bike-Share program w/ 3 companies.

It’s a ‘no-docking’ situation & most of the bikes are in/around the

downtown area.  It has gotten so out of control.  

 

Bikes are strewn about, blocking sidewalks, bike paths, in waterways,

even...as a joke...up in a tree. Very much an eyesore.  One of my 

radio guys has brought the problem to the airways...and we’re now

seeing Dallas City Council making changes.  Slowly, but changing.

@sidsmom  In Seattle it is also becoming a problem.
