Hi everyone!!! Stop by and visit. We didn't have a lot of visitors in July so let's get a bit more chatty and join in - everyone needs a place to stop for a while, put up your feet and check out the munchies. Speaking of munchies am bringing some great Ritz veggie crackers - they are delicious and a friend put me on to them - also some ice tea and even a pot of hot coffee for you - including me - coffee drinkers. Also am bring one of those Soda Streams and some makings. I bought one two months ago and decided maybe I should try it out. I sit and look at some things if they are completely foreign to me. LOL.

Another chilly morning but not cold like yesterday - I froze yesterday morning and had to dig out a sweater. Of coure by about 10 it was sweat time again. LOL.

Picking up Tessa and Gizmo - the kitty she rescued in San Bernardino - as Gizmo needs her second set of shots - this will be early afternoon. Then will try and find places which do neutering at a decent cost. Our rescue facility gives vouchers away but need to call them. It is for the entire valley but their notices in the paper always say for only people living in Yucaipa - Yucaipa is across the street from me but a different city and county. Never have understood how the line was ever drawn up the way it was but surely since we all support the rescue place they also give the vouchers to people in Calimesa?? I got both Bailey and Conrad from there - we shall see.

There is so much meanness going on around here - this once somewhat sleepy area. The middle school Tessa went to had a serious hit the other night. Somehow someone got in there and stole very expensive equipment - to the tune of $180,000. This is charging stuff all electrical not sure exactly what it is but it runs the AC, all computers in the classrooms and offices and other electrical things. Cannot believe someone would do this. The district is having an emergency meeting to fund replacement/repair as schools out here - well a lot of them - are completely broke. I think this is horrible. Shootings, so many robberies and burglaries - people are desperate and in desperate times they often do such stupid things. By the way all schools out here have been fenced and gated for some years. When I came to California none were but in the advent of fighting parents and kidnappings, you cannot get into a school campus unless going through security. Everytime I had to do this with Tessa I got a little angry over it but I understand the need. My point is this Middle School is a fairly new facility (actually was built for a high school but being used as a middle school so it is extremely well fortified) and I cannot figure out with all their security how anyone got in - very weird - and the paper did not say how they entered the facility - am sure there is a good reason for not mentioning that. Would also say they have something on video as they have video cameras all over that place. Sure hope they catch them.

Have my clothes in the washer and if the timing is right will hang them out before heading to Curves - if not will do it when I get back. Washed two loads yesterday morning but had to sue the dryer - super foggy and misty and cold so had to use the dryer. Have a great day everyone.
