Changing the clock in the fall and spring? I think everyone loses something at one time or the other. When I worked night Midnight to 8am, we worked 9 hours on the "fall back" time change. Now this was overtime work so we did get paid at time and a half, but it was still an extra hour of work regardless.

And on this same shift on the "spring forward"? They never had us work those nights because my belief it they did not want to pay time and a half for 8 hours when we worked only 7 hours.

The whole thing makes no sense to me as they say "early saves energy", I guess. Someone has to show me specifically where this is true by showing me exact costs of the energy we use. All I remember from years ago it was said "it if for the farmers that start work early in the morning". Well, a lot of my friend here in our state were farm families, and like myself, they saw no use for this time change.
