I think a lot of people are just wanting to get on the air to talk to someone - otherwise it's really a waste.
Customers are loyal to lines that are sold exclusively on shopping networks. While it is possible to buy these lines (without warranty) in the future from eBay, some customers just do not want to wait.

I can understand sending things back if something doesn't fit or is broken. But otherwise I don't know why people change their mind once they get an item? I always think it over before purchasing. Especially now with all the price and shipping increases.
Hi shorty!
I agree with you but "back in the old QVC days" they would whip me into an excited shopping frenzy so it really was QVC's fault.
When the show was over I returned to my senses.

C/S told me that cancellations are also considered a return. Anything that goes back into stock is a return. It doesn't have to make a round trip journey.

The hosts go on and on talking about how nice the fabric feels and how substantial it is and the quality of construction etc., etc and when you receive it you discover the fabric looks and feels really cheap and that it is poorly made.We only returned 3 things in all the years we shop on QVC. If an order is cancelled within a couple of hours after placing, I don't think it should be counted as a return. On occasion I've placed an order when I was pretty sure I wanted something but they kept saying "they're flying out of here", and "we're getting limited in sizes and colors", so I went ahead before reading reviews or checking the "click here" measurements. Then after ordering my usual size and finding out the measurements are not the same, or reading a lot of bad reviews, just went ahead and cancelled. Then only to find later after all the hype, that nothing is sold out in any size or color, so I didn't have to be in a hurry in the first place. I don't think that should be considered a return.
Also, I wonder if they count the defective items? I've had a lot of defective things I've had to send back, mostly clothing, including IM scarves with holes in them or raveling on the side, IM sweaters with the grosgrain ribbon under the front edge which was all messed up where it was very noticeable, Susan Graver coats where the lining was so crazy it pulled the coat bottom in all directions, D&Co coats that didn't fit in one color but did in two other colors, etc. etc. etc. Not to speak of a chopper/slicer that was nothing but a piece of junk.
It's always sporadic, so I can get something one time and it's great, and the next time it's totally not! So if they count defective items, that's just plain wrong......and I'm not sure how we would find out.

If I got that letter it would be the last time I shop with them.
