Thanksgiving is a time to be grateful for everything we have been given. Letting something as silly as a pie cause such upset is ridiculous. My SIL has taken over Thanksgiving dinner and I usually make the stuffing. This year she asked me not to so our Dinner will consist of turkey and brussel sprouts and gravy. I always bring my own cranberry sauce since she doesn't like it and never serves it. OK it's not really a traditional Thanksgiving meal, but it is a chance to see my nephews and niece and that's what important. I'll make the rest of the fixings at home for turkey leftovers so we can have a more traditional dinner. Do I get annoyed? Of course I do but family is more important and my brother is all I have left.
