When this one presented himself front and center, I tossed the rest of the carrots, snapped a picture, and went inside.

Beside being beautiful to look at they are very respectful of the social distancing safety suggestion.

I think they are waiting to be invited to the table.  Happy Thanksgiving to you, Papa and all your guests.

@MamaWick.  I'm  not sure that other posters understand that bucks can be very dangerous and are not to be trusted at this time of year.  They are wild animals in the truest sense.  They don't "get" why you'd toss the carrots and go ibside.

@Kachina624 protecting his crew.  I look at some of the videos of people getting too close to wildlife and just shake my head.

Many years ago when we were skiing we came around a corner and there was a herd crossing the trail...the only trail.  What to do but just stand there and wait for them to go by, and hope one of them doesn't decide to come after you because there's nowhere to go especially with those sticks on your feet?

@Icegoddess.  One of the dangers of being an Icegoddess.

My parents were camping at an RV park at Yellowstone.  There was a huge bull Buffalo grazing in the park.  The mom of a 5 year old tried her best to get the child to pet it so she could take a picture.  Child had better sense.  Mom gave the woman a tongue lashing she wouldn't soon forget.
