I am making roasted veggies for my guests who are vegan, have plenty of fruit on hand.  Hope that works for them.

Hey Bunny!!   I think of you often.  Nice seein' ya.

I don't have any answers about menus, as I am managing to skate out of Thanksgiving and christmas this year due to an injury.   It's kind of a relief, as the Thanksgiving thing is a week-long endeavor for me due to limitations.

I hope you are happy and well!!

I sure do remember you, and I am delighted you dropped by. We are going out to eat.  I won't get turley because they serve corn bread dressing ,which I think is dreadful stuff

@cherry  @velveteenb  Agree^ ^.  I also remember you and like cherry we are also going out.  First time ever.  I am one of 4 children and we used to all take a different holiday to host and mine was T'giving.  When  dad was alive he loved nothing more than to have all his family together and around him at same time.

I've posted this elsewhere - the family just kept growing and growing and numbered into the 20s.  Two years after dad died we stopped all the holiday gatherings and moved to something that works much better for us.  Each sibling has holidays with their immediate family, we all call each other to wish each other happy holiday and then when spring comes, we have 4 or 5 outdoor barbeques between May and October, we all chip in for the cost of whatever meats will be grilled or smoked and bring a side.

This accomplishes many things - the women don't get stuck doing everything bc the men grill, watch the smoker or fryer, it's outside so no issues with cramming so many into such a small space, and lastly, we use Chinet/plastic silverware, buy plastic tablecloths from the Dollar Store for picnic tables and at the end of the day you roll everything all up and toss into the trashcans.  The kids are running around in the outdoors instead of whining bc there's nothing to do indoors.  It solves so many problems and just works so  much better for us and we still maintain contact with our family!
