After reading about the new return policy I will be doubly sure before ordering anything. No wonder they are giving a break on shipping charges!! In all reality we didn't get a break after all. I never order with the idea of returning but sometimes things you order just don't do what they say it does. Or things are not the quality you expected etc. etc. Are hosts giving this information out? I doubt it.

I haven't heard hosts mention the return policy change. I'm glad for the threads warning us too!

All you have to do is look near the top of the QVC home page. There's a red banner announcing the new shipping policy.

Proofer - While you never ordered with the thought of returning, I think one problem here is that there are a LOT of people who do.
I can't tell you how many times I've read people post how they purchase items in several varieties/sizes for the express purpose of choosing one and returning all the rest. That probably adds up to quite a bit of cost on QVC's end. It's definitely a 'playing the system' move because I doubt if people care that QVC was covering all that shipping for them to return items that they had every notion they would be returning, before even ordering them.
Costs would be lower across the board if there weren't always more and more people looking for ways to play the system (i.e. cheat). Consequently, the rest of us pay more for everything.

What's the new return policy?
I don't understand why some of you say what you say about returns.
Do you guys never return anything to a brick and mortar store after buying something? Sometimes things you've even tried on? Sometimes you buy something to go with an item you have at home, only to find out it just doesn't look right together. Do you keep it or return it?
Regardless of the size charts, sometimes things just don't fit the way they should.
