I think most of the credit goes to UPS and USPS.  Last night at 8:30 I saw five UPS trucks still out delivering.  My husband sees the trucks in our neighborhood at 6:30 in the morning.

@tansy

As the wife of a UPS employee (and having had a number of post masters and letter carriers in the family as well), thanks for remembering how important  the delivery companies are in this process.

The people my husband works with are working very long hours, and my husband, being a mechanic for UPS has been out on the highway with various trucks that have broken down this week, in the middle of the night, off loading packages or switching out tractors so the packages keep on schedule. People who load the trucks are really having to work hard to keep the extra volume going, and trucks are getting back in late, but the car washers still have to be there to get them clean for the next day.

There really is more to getting your package than meets the eye!

I placed two orders Sunday, the 20th.   EDD was the 24th.   They both arrived today.   Great job!!    And I love both items...

Mine too!  All of my Q purchases have come home.  Of course they were to me from me, so it really didn't matter.

Re: Thank You QVC

@Mominohio - Believe me, I really appreciate the job these guys do, whether it's UPS, FedEX or another delivery service.  I've said many times I'd rather an item I've ordered be late, than to have someone risk his/her life trying to get it to me by a specified date.  (Working too many hours, driving in hazardous conditions - "things" can wait.  People are more important.)

We all need to put things in perspective, especially when it gets crazy at this time of year.

I hope you are able to enjoy a happy Christmas Day with your husband.
