Thank You Pearl Harbor Veterans

Eighty years ago, Japanese aircraft bombed the U.S.S. Arizona and U.S.S. Utah.  Never forget.

When I was a little girl, my neighbor across the street was a Pearl Harbor survivor.

I was fortunate to visit Pearl harbor a few years back.  It was one of the most humbling

times of my life.

The last Pearl Harbor Veteran from Nebraska passed away last summer. Very few surviving. Let us never forget what they did for our country. There are some amazing books on their courage and the battles the fought to protect our freedoms.

@LindaSal

My wife has visited twice and told me it was a numbing feeling being there. Her father served in the Pacific shortly after this day of Infamy.

Yes...never forget. My dad was 15 at the time. Two years later, he enlisted in the Navy  and served in WWII in the Pacific theatre and Korean Conflict. Last weekend, he was telling us more stories. He's 95 and has the memory of an elephant...events, names of comrades, shipmates, places, etc. Unreal. I have so much respect and gratitude and love for him.

Gratitude to all who have served🙏
