A thank you card would probably be just fine.  If you want to send more maybe a gift card for Panera's or The Cheesecake Factory.  Or Shari's Berries delivers the most delicious and beautiful chocolate covered strawberries.  Just decadent.

I would stay away from Sheri's Berries. My husband got these for me a couple of years ago. They were awful. The chocolate was dried out and coming off the berries, they arrived wet from the ice bag that was supposed to keep them fresh and they are WAY overpriced. For the same amount of money I would get her a nice card and maybe a Visa gift card so she can buy herself a little something.

@Meowingkitty  That's awful you had a bad experience with them. Whenever I received them ( maybe 3 times) they were just delicious.

I’d send her a nice thank you card with a nice note written in it, plus a Visa gift card in it. That way you’d be sure to send her something she’d like and is useful.

@amyb   There is a lovely site called fresh cut paper dot com that has greeting cards that open up into a vase of flowers that can be placed on the table.  It serves 2 purposes,a written thank you note and somthing very unusual.  See if you like it!

A thank-you card is plenty but you can always include a Visa Gift card.

I would stay away from Amazon-she may not use it.

I would also stay away from an Etsy gift card-she is a seller so you don't know if she is also a buyer.

Skip the food. Freshness and personal preferences.  Plus I never heard of buying a meal to send to somebody else on Hello Fresh.

Flowers-maybe.  Allergies and risk of not-so-fresh bouquets.

I think you are a grateful person but keep it simple.

Re: Thank You Gift ideas?

[ Edited ]

I have read all the posts on this thread, and very few of the gift suggestions would appeal to me if someone were to give me one of them.  Plants? If fresh, are dead within days/weeks and cost a lot of money.  If a potted plant, maybe the person doesn't like to tend to plants or is gone a lot.  Candles?  Who knows what scents a person likes?  Restaurant gift cards?  Who knows a person's preference?  Candy bouquets or food subscription services?  Who knows if a person has dietary restrictions, is keto, or watches their weight?  I'm not trying to be negative, but a gift that would fit every recipient who would receive it would be a thank-you card and a generic Visa gift card.  They can be picked up at numerous places including Wal-Mart, CVS, etc.  She can then spend the gift card wherever she wants.  It is the gift that fits especially if you don't know someone well like this person.

@amyb

Animal lover?  Gift card for her pet. If no pet, a monetary amount she can choose to help homeless animals.

I agree with the other posters that a thank you note will be enough.  If you want to get a thank you note that is fancier, try Lovepop. Or a fancy thank you note from Hallmark.

@momoftwo2007  Aren't they beautiful?

I bought one for my daughter and one for my son-in-law and couldn't bring myself to write on the actual card.

@amyb  If I was the recipient I would appreciate the suggestion from @qualitygal of flowers or a small plant for this type of thank you. More thoughtful IMHO then a generic one size fits all gift card.

I use gift cards for anniversary dinners to DD and SIL, iTunes to grands, etc;  personalized for the recipient.
