The same way you can side swipe another car. She got too close to him.

How about she could have pulled out in front of the cyclist? Very possible...I have seen this happen.

She needs to spend some time in jail to reflect on just what she did.
What a callous heartless soul!....Scary that someone like this will eventually get her license back and be on the road again in the future.

According to WXIA, Atlanta, the following was reported by The Standard, an Australian newspaper.
"She hit the cyclist from behind, even though he had lights on the bike. She dialed triple-0 (Australian's equivalent of 911), but refused to help the cyclist while they waited for first responders."
