For the 18-month period between now and a vaccine, government at different levels will be making life and death decisions.  Ultimately, each one of us will also have to make a decision.  Do we choose life or death?  The 2.4 million U. S. deaths at the top of the projection range is still operative and could be our reality by the end of the 18-month period.

I think this early on, antibodies testing is what I would want. 

I would like to know if we (my family) have already had this. I would still be cautious and act like I hadn't , but it would be some relief to know I had already had it and had some kind of antibodies built.

@Firefly901 SS recipients and those on Medicare should hope that things get back to normal soon. As long as people are not working, they are not making contributions to those programs which are already on thin ice. 

Choose life or death?  A bit dramatic, no?  Nobody would knowingly choose death.

Hold tight. We choose life and will take as few risks as possible and be wise.

We can't control what others choose to do with their bodies and the risks they take. Like the people who will go to the beach in Florida, it's the easiest thing in the world for anyone to be irresponsible or destructive or fatalistic. Thankfully there are far more of us who want to live and be healthy than otherwise.
