Whether they do or don't need the money is off topic.

They can crank out new products until the cows come home, but that doesn't mean people will buy them.

Not only price gouging.  He is a doctor.  Why is he not out there treating patients?  We desperately need doctors and medical staff during this crisis and he is on TV ripping people off.  This is so disgusting it's beyond words.   They need to be reported and fined.

Fined for what, exactly?   Appearing on TV?

BTW, He's not a GP, he's a plastic surgeon; a specialist.   I really doubt all podiatrists or urologists, or other specialists are on the front lines in hospitals these days, either.

Not ALL doctors are working now, or there may be backup docs waiting to be called when an active doc takes time off.

Re: Terry and Heather Dubrow price gouging

He can be fined for price gouging, if proven and unethical at best.
Plastic surgery is his specialty, but he is an MD, whose services, however basic,  are likely desperately needed. He could be sewing masks, if he can't find another way to contribute. There are so many non-medical people, including celebrities, donating monies, supplies, time, support. These two people are on tv making money with a product that is not effective against COVID. While he never specified COVID, he referenced " especially now", "at this difficult time", leading one to believe COVID was included. Their first presentation sold out, understandable since people expect to be able to trust the source. They should be able to!

What's equally disturbing is that ShopHQ deleted several negative reviews, and ignored complaint that a possible misrepresentation was being made that could affect lives.

It's DISGUSTING & HORRIBLE what the Dubrows AND SHOPHQ are doing. Other vendors are joining the price gouge/greed train, including Isomers. They are selling 8 oz bottles for $15 a bottle which is also 4 to 5 times the price of an 8 oz container of Purell (with 70% alcohol) costs $2.99 at Target.

ShopHQ is also pushing no name brands at $12 and more a bottle which is still 4 times what it usually sells for. Every one of their hosts are a disgrace for selling this stuff with a straight face. I know their job is to sell but collectively they could all say, we're not selling this at these prices, if they had any morals. I am so angry about this as my nephew who was a Biomedical Engineer at the FDA passed away while working for them 16 hours at a time fighting the pandemic. He just turned 40 and had no underlying health conditions. What a slap in his and others faces who risk their lives.
