The other post got me thinking...for those of you who have kids. When you were pregnant did you tell people the gender before the baby was born?
We did. The second we found out!
But it seems to now be the "in" thing to do to not tell and I find it beyond annoying. I understand back when you did not have a choice. but in this day and age why would you NOT want to know. Everything to buy for a baby now is so gender specific. I refuse to go to baby showers where they do not know the gender.
I had a friend who chose not to find out and she was upset when all she got for her baby shower was diapers. That and she did the babys room in green and yellow and now when anyone comes over they ask why her daughter has a boys room.
What do you think?
