At age 4, I was the victim of an attempted abduction from the front of my house.  Thanks to the heroics of my quick thinking older sister, I was pulled from the car.  They did catch the guy and he was convicted of other attempts of kidnapping.  This happened in Italy.   Other then that auspicious beginning, my life has been pretty dull.

@cherry

My first married name was "Devine," my second married name was "Hart."  I legally changed my name back to Devine after I divorced Hart.  So my name was Devine Hart Devine.  I could have married a third time and his name was Hart.  Had I done so my name would have been "Devine Hart Devine Hart."

Also I have moved 41 times in my life beginning in childhood.

And we four kids lived in a childrens' home for many months during the housing shortage after WW II and a bias against Italians.  No one would rent to an Italian family with four kids.

I jumped out of a moving car on the highway when the brakes failed.  The car went into a parking lot and hit a pole.

[P. S.  I already looked myself up on Google and couldn't find me under those names.]

We had the BBC film a series in our house , then they made a copy of it in a studio which was strange for my then 5 yr old daughter to accept .She could not understand that when you went up the stairs her bedroom was not there [they only did the ground floor ]

When I was very young and not 21 yet, I went to Plato's Retreat Club in NYC with a  friend/co-worker.

Plato's was a swinging club for couples or single females.  Single males were not allowed to enter unless they were Accompanied by a female.  My friend wanted to go and talked me into going so he could get in.  I am sure that he was there before.

i had no idea of what this place was about until I got there.   I certainly got an eyeful.  I was younger than everyone else there and scared to death.   I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

My friend, who was only a friend, nothing more...thought it was great.  Occasionally, I see an article or a reference to this very famous place and think .  Yeah, I was there... once.

I have two friends who gave long-term annual parties!

I went to the same New Year's Eve party - which was out of town - for 16 years in a row until the couple who gave it got tired of doing so (they were aging and it became too much work).

And I went to an annual party at a different friend's home, to celebrate a local event, for literally 31 years in a row until enough of the usual attendees either had died or moved away.

I was once arrested during a peace protest (non-violent!).
