I think when you have been a military brat and you married a military man, you have probably been to, driven through, spent the night in so many states that it gives you a feel for the nickname and the states.

Nope, the first one was referring to the City that Never Sleeps, NYC.

Lots of good clues on this thread, though there are a couple I can't figure out... "Almost Heaven" I was thinking Iowa in reference to "Field of Dreams" movie. Based on other comments I'm thinking that's wrong.

The other one. can't figure out is "Better Yet".
