Nope, the first one was referring to the City that Never Sleeps, NYC.

 

Lots of good clues on this thread, though there are a couple I can't figure out... "Almost Heaven" I was thinking Iowa in reference to "Field of Dreams" movie. Based on other comments I'm thinking that's wrong.

 

The other one. can't figure out is "Better Yet".

Yes, I know the song very well and now it is stuck in my head for the day, lol... which is okay. If I have to have a song stuck in my head it might as well be a pretty one.
