I am interested in Groupon, I was wondering how exactly it works and if it's worth it? I assume you must create an account before you can peruse all of the deals. I don't know if I want to give them my information if I decide it's not for me. The same problem with any of the subscription meal plans. If you want to see the menu of the various meals offered you need to create an account like you're going to order the meals.

Re: Tell Me About Groupon

[ Edited ]

I shop on Groupon for some local services, for instance carpet cleaning companies, to get deals that way. I've also bought merchandise from some of the vendors there, too. I I've gotten some good deals from Groupon. Groupon takes PayPal so I don't need to give them my financial details. Also, I've never gotten any emails from anyone on Groupon unless it's related to an order.

Groupon has a thing called 'Deal of the Day'...sort of like a TSV. Sometimes there's more than one. I always check that page each day. There are some killer deals and many have free shipping.

I like Groupon. I don't use it that often but I've gotten some good deals through them. I can see the Groupon deals and the Hello Fresh meal menus without having to log in.
