Teacher's Assistant Arrested and Booked

This incident happened in Palmdale, CA two days ago. A women was engaging in intimacy with a 13 year old boy. The assistant worked with minors who were challenged and she would have the 'affair' in the classroom while they both could be along. She did not deny the allegations and was taken in to custody. She has been removed from the teaching district and the school (Shadow Mountain Middle School)

It's not the best of any news but couldn't some folks somewhere be able to stop this sort of thing before it ever happens? It's not an example or behavior that I believe minors need to be on the lookout for as they have their studies to focus on.
