I'm tired of Swift playing the victim.
I thought it was pretty funny when she said "As the first woman to win Album of the Year at the Grammys twice ..." like she was prepared to win and is keeping score.
Are you kidding? This is a big accomplishment and album sales are very important .... they ALL keep score!
Anyone nominated should be "prepared to win" and have their speech ready. I don't see why you think this is a bad thing .... care to elaborate?

Did you actually listen to her acceptance speech. This was someone taking back the power that someone else tried to steal from her. She tried to befriend him despite what he did to her in the past. I think she showed great class.

my gallstone has more class then that fool.

I loved her speech.

I'm tired of her songs.
The MAJORITY of her songs are very, very negative.
Complaining about current loves.
Complaining about ex-loves.
Calculating revenge.
Wanting to physiologically want to hurt people.
Her popularity, recognition & constant play...those lyrics seep into young minds.
The public thinks it's the obvious artists whom are 'bad'.
It's the 'happy negative' people, like Taylor Swift, we need to call out.
But the pretty blonde will always get the spotlight.
She is always passive-aggressively taking public digs at people. I don't find that classy at all, but she gets a pass for some reason.
She always has a posse of supermodels by her side too. She is not the underdog as she likes to portray herself.
For a small while I warmed to her, but I'm sick of her now. LOL

I don't know why people suffer idiots like KW nowdays. It saddens me that people will do anything and people will allow any behavior for a buck. Then on the filp side we are all forced to be so "politically correct." Doesn't make sense does it? We demand lip service, but allow any sort of thing to play out.
I'm not sure what you mean about "politically correct" with regard to music? What has that got to do with anything here?

I've never been a fan of hers but I can't abide him and think they both demonstrate talent that's marginal, at best.

Passive-Agressive!
That's EXACTLY it.
Good observation.
Don't see how anyone can say she's a 'good role model.' Gad, no.

I thought she was a class act. She stood up for herself and addressed the public innuendo head on in a positive and shameful way towards a person who is older, raising children, and is hopefully taking notes on how to be a better role model for the younger people in his life.
You don't call people names and build up your own ego and/or publicity by tearing another artist down. Good for her for showing him how it's done in a civilized society. It's really a shame when a 20 something year old has better manners and insight than the 30 something year old.

I couldn't disagree more. She has always presented herself as a strong and positive role model, not only for young women, but for all artists.
As far as being prepared, she wouldn't be the professional she is if she hadn't been. She had an amazing album and many predicted "1989" would be Album of the Year. What's really funny is to say someone is on the brink of making Grammy history and then pretend they shouldn't take notice! Seriously?
The point was made loud and clear with poise and grace, without negativity, while leaving young women with a positive message. Congratulations to Taylor Swift!
