............and Ebay will not accept Amex card beginning in August.  I think August 17th of this year.  I guess they raised their rates for merchants.

Oh yes.  A check can be verified by the routing number and they should get their money right away.  One bank talks to another and you can find out if the money's there or not and get it.  Now, as far as the actual wiring it into the merchant's account, I'm not sure.

We get hit with the convenience fee by merchants because these credit card companies raise their rates for using them to the merchant so the raise is passed on the consumer.

Yeah, QVC's really great.  They accept all kinds of payments.  Hey, takes all kinds and QVC will accept everyone.

I used to make bank deposits through ATM but then I found out that the ATM is done by a third party.  I don't use it anymore.

However there are skimmers on some of the card machines.  I hate when they take away choices.  I always try to have cash.  I guess eventually their may be an issue with that.  I have a friend who is all about technology.  She uses apple pay etc... I asked her if she ever gets nervous about doing everything electronically she said no.

I know lol, however if they would fill everything out before they get to the front it would save time.  They wait until cashier says the amount then the check book comes out.  I have also seen people hold up the line with cards as well.
