Glad they pulled them and are reimbursing people.   Chances are that Target didn't even know that they were selling a mis-represented product.  

I was on Amazon yesterday and one of their deals of the day was 'Egyptian TYPE' sheets.   Anybody not paying attention would read Egyptian cotton into that but they weren't even cotton at all.

I agree with you. I don't think that Target knew either. IMHO 

Target is taking care of the customers who purchased the sheets and took swift action with terminating the supplier.

I'm wondering how they found out, or how would anyone know this? Have they said? Good for Target.

Scary thing is: how many OTHER things from overseas suppliers are fake? Think about that for awhile....

Target is being proactive because they don't need more bad publicity.  They haven't fully recovered from the credit card debacle.

Tiny print, I can't read the story but I'm sure Target didn't realize they were knock offs.  They say a lot of the merchandise that we buy in big name stores are counterfeits because the retailers are targeted and victimized.  I suppose it's just the world we live in.

A couple of years ago, I went to Bed/Bath to buy a sheet set. I told the female working there that I didn't want sheets from India (I once had a problem where the threads were pulling). She handed me a sheetset that said Mexico on the wrapping - so I bought it. When I opened it, the lable on the sheetset said India. I should have returned.
