I was thinking about the farmers market.

Could it be it was allowed to be open because they were selling produce and other necessary items, and then other vendors selling anything just went and sold.

Even if so, social distancing was not happening. Ugh.

@chiclets, yes, it is true that they sell food ( and often other not so necessary items). But at popular ones, I can imagine the lack of social distancing. But come to think of it, maybe it's actually easier to accomplish, if you try, than at a supermarket.

Let's face it: All of this is uncharted territory for us.

I see some gray haired people in that picture. What are they thinking?

Wha? So they had 12 hand held air purifiers and zapped them at anyone who coughed? Where are they in the picture? Shooting solution on people doesn't sound safe or even like it could be fast enough or 100% effective. There must be something up with their finances to be this desperate this fast.

@suzyQ3

That is why it is called LIVE AND LEARN!

We are all observers in the happenings of the world we live in now.

All the new rules and enforcements that are needed.

We watch and see those fighting this virus and the sacrifices they make.

We can observe the kindnesses shown to strangers.

We have gratitude in this time of darkness.

A darkness none of us would have imagined.

Peace and Health

I don't understand... Don't they see the numbers of sick and dead?  How stupid can you be?  Glad I don't live there-

@QueenDanceALot I'm fearful of someone getting ideas from that pastor.Tremendously fearful.

The farmers market is a food store and it is outside. Way better than the enclosed stores where everbody has to breath each others air.

The police do not need to break up anything.

Wonder if cruises are still going on... they seemed to bring back more problems than anything.

The ones I've seen on local and national news were used on surfaces. In schools, subway stations, different public buildings. On surfaces, not people. If that's what they used it has zero effect once the people are inside.

Who knows, maybe this pastor bought a bunch of air purifiers from neighboring HSN and thinks those will do the trick. As for collections many churches now have the capability to take it out of your account, if you sign up for that.
