I change mine as I find new things that touch me in some way.

I've had a few I'd really like to use but, so far, have been able to restrain myself. Wink

the first part of my siggy - well, there are those that know what it means.

the second is a quote by the late great Dougie Adams - the creator of the wonderful Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. He has so many great witty quotes and I loved this one.

Of course, Don't Panic and Carry a Towel...

bikerbabe,

It has been great reading this on a Saturday morning. Thank you!

Last night I was telling myself to log on and change my siggy, as it was not only time to do so, but was a somewhat romantic quote from the early 20th century that I thought would cause distress to a friend here who suddenly lost her husband. Since I had discovered Walt Whitman in high school and liked him very much, I made a mad dash to try and find something short and meaningful. Just changed my siggy to:

"Whatever satisfies the soul is truth." Walt Whitman

This rings a note with me as so many truths exclaimed, proclaimed or pondered upon are of the moment, originating from the heart, emotions, the intellectual self, but not from the soul: that which is truly our being.

I stole(borrowed)it from my wife who has had this as her personalized state license plate for years. Since this has been a big part of my life, especially the last 52 years, I decided to use it. I also added (john) to it so there would be no question as to my gender.

For those that are not sure what the sig means here it is:

I posted a response on one of the threads where there was a heated debate. The thread went downhill, quickly, and got poofed. So my siggy is my philosophy about he said/she said situations.
